This policy explains what information the Direhollow mobile game ("the app," "we") collects and how it is used. The website at direhollow.com itself does not set tracking cookies or collect personal information from visitors.
Information we collect
Direhollow is designed to be played without creating an account or providing personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, or contacts.
- Anonymous gameplay & usage analytics. To understand whether people enjoy and return to the game, the app records anonymous, aggregated events such as sessions, run length, and which features are used. This data is not used to identify you personally.
- Device & diagnostic data. Standard technical information (device model, operating-system version, app version, crash logs) may be collected to fix bugs and improve stability.
- Advertising (future). A free version of the app may show ads. When that launches, an advertising provider (e.g., Google AdMob) may collect a device advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. A one-time in-app purchase will remove ads. This section will be updated before any ads ship.
How we use it
- To operate, maintain, and improve the game.
- To measure retention and engagement so we can prioritize what to build next.
- To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
- To serve and measure advertising, if and when ads are introduced.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
The app may use third-party SDKs that process data on our behalf, including Google Firebase / Google Analytics (anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting) and, in a future release, Google AdMob (advertising). These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
Direhollow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can limit ad tracking through your device settings ("Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS, "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android). Removing ads via the in-app purchase also stops ad-related data collection by the advertising provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
